"Take the First Step" is this year's stewardship theme at First Methodist. Look for church literature with this logo over the next few months. More than just a stewardship campaign, "Take the First Step" gives members of our congregation the opportunity to volunteer in various areas of church life. Food Bank volunteer,  Bible study leader, praise team member, Habitat for Humanity, and children's choir are all possibilities on the annual stewardship commitment card.

We strongly believe at TFUMC that we are a "lay led, staff assisted" church and that all of our members are "ministers" in their own right. "Take the First Step" is a way for all of our membership to be involved. It's indispensible to our work here at TFUMC. 

This year, the staff, lay leadership, and Stewardship Committee have put their heads together to come up with some new ideas. Hopefully, the stewardship campaign will be easier to use for all our members. Check back for regular updates and new information. Contact Sam for more info.
