Keenagers
A group for retired and/or older adults who meet monthly for fellowship, service and travel. Our group has travelled abroad, across the U.S. and locally. The annual Keenager Tea is held in January and an overview of ministry and travel opportunities is shared with the group. We enjoy travelling on our new buses. Day Trip to Historic Westville & Providence Canyon
On Friday, March 30, the Keenagers will take a day trip to Historic Westville and Providence Canyon. The cost of the trip is $18.00, and reservations can be made through Bob Dixon or the church office. The bus will depart the TFUMC parking lot at 8:00am and return by 6:00pm.
Westville - Georgia’s 1850 Living History Museum. The group will join costumed tour guides to learn about the life and times of the people who lived there. Lunch will be at the Kiser House and is NOT included in the registration cost.
Providence Canyon - the “Little Grand Canyon” is a testament to the power of poor land use and yet a place of beauty as one can see the soil’s pink, orange, red, and purple hues making a beautiful painting.
