Mission Trips
We want to help all of our people experience what it means to "go into all the world to make disciples". In doing so, we've discovered that, not only does God use us in surprising ways, but he also blesses us beyond our expectations. We offer a number of mission trip opportunities for all ages.
Youth Missions
Our youth group makes missions a priority and offers a four year mission trip rotation that allows our students to experience a variety of mission work by the time they finish high school.
Year one Local Mission Week
Year two Rural Mission Trip
Year three Inner City Mission Trip
Year four Foreign Mission Trip
Adult Mission Trips
Each year we try to offer at least one mission trip for adults. Past trips have been made to Jamaica, Belize, and Rwanda. As we continue to work on our Advent Revolution project future mission trips will certainly be made to Rwanda where we have established a relationship with a village of orphans.
Family Mission Trips
Parents who participated in past mission trips have expressed an interest in having an opportunity to expose their children to mission work at a young age. In 2008 we offered our first family mission trip to New Orleans, Lousiana, where together, parents and children ministered to a neighborhood that had been flooded after Hurricane Katrina. It was a tremendous experience and future family mission trips are currently being planned.
