Christian Fellowship

The Christian Fellowship class is a diverse group, made up of couples, singles, grandparents, retirees, those still working -- many different backgrounds but all friends,  who are active in outreach and who support one another through study and prayer. The lessons are taught by an inspirational team using the Cokesbury Adult Bible Studies.

The class sponsors an annual church wide event, the Margatet Lee dinner. The proceeds from the dinner go to support the Christian Fellowship Class Margaret Lee Fund which is used to provide short term financial  help to persons in need. To date the fund has provided over $14,000 in financial support to individuals and families. Margaret Lee was a member of the Christian Fellowship Class where her outgoing nature and thoughtfulness to others in need inspired us all to be better people. We were saddened when she fell ill with cancer in1998, and the first dinner was a fund raiser to help her with her medical bills. Margaret died soon after, having left a bequest to start a Good  Samaritan fund to help whomever had need.

The class sponsors the students from the Honors Cottage at Vashti, and class members take the students our for an activity and dinner once a quarter. We recently donated a Wii to the House for use as a motivational activity. We also enjoy various fellowship activities during the year including an annual Christmas Carol event. All are welcome to visit and share in our Christian Fellowship!
